5th Street Farm Estate is located in the heart of California Wine Country and is an award winning historic home built in 1875 on a 5 acre farm with animals (you don’t have to care for), gardens, pool, saunas, olive grove, vineyard and all within biking distance of the Sonoma Plaza.
The home has been restored with all of the modern conveniences, but keeping with its old world charm.
The home has been meticulously appointed by the owner and her team at Chateau Sonoma, a French antique and lifestyle business. Sarah, Terry and Juliana have been traveling to France for the past 20 years and the home is filled with treasures they have accumulated during this time. Fine linen sheets, vintage coffee mugs, antiques throughout, real fire places. And did we mention the mattresses…(same as the ones in the Mandarin Oriental). You will sleep like a baby!
Then there is the barn! We love the barn and it’s a perfect place to welcome a visitor or two during the summer months when it is warm out. It is fully equipped with a claw tub and shower, full kitchen and king sized bed.
We thoughtfully decorated the Chateau Apartment with some of our favorite one of a kind treasures from our travels around the globe and products we have sourced from France. There are two bedrooms, a living space, and detached bathroom with a dry and wet sauna.
